Love baby shower invitations! We just can't get enough as babies are in the air. These invitations were for my dear friend Jaslyn Throne who happens to be a fabulously talented photographer in Vancouver, Canada. We tried our hardest to surprise this new Mama, although she acted surprised she knew all along. Regardless the invitations were a surprise,  I worked closely with Rob at Honeybee Press for the amazing letterpress printing as well as Christy from Pligrams Quill Studio for the beautiful calligraphy. Bling Bling to Abbey the new addition to the Thorne's!

This last summer we had the wonderful privilege of working the fabulous Erin Gilmore amazing photographer and editor of Asilewalk Magazine. We were asked to collaborate and design two invitation suites for the two of the three magazine editorials.  The two editorials were on very different spectrums one was a mod MadMen theme and the other was a flowy organic neutral palette.  We collaborated with so many terrificly talented Vancouver BC vendors and we are so excited to share theese editorials with you! Enjoy!

Welcome 2012! Another year down and we are looking forward to a fabulous new year full of wonderful clients!  I realize I have dropped off the blog radar for a bit and I sorry for that as I can not wait to share our 2011 designs with you all! In the meantime I wanted to pass along some eye candy from this last summer. You can see our previous post here from this shoot as it was featured on Love and Lavender. Huge thank you to Vatne Designs for the amazing shoot and jewels, and Sheila Carson Photography for the amazing photography. 

Last summer we had a fabulous opportunity to collaborate with Real Weddings Magazine and Sweet Beginnings Events. We had so much fun designing a custom invitation suite based off the color palette of pastille pink, blue, yellow, and silver. We used a cream textured box and presented the silver edge painted custom calligraphy oval invitation pillowed atop silver foil and cream lace. A custom bellyband was created with a grey grosgrain ribbon and a custom vintage inspired broche. To incorporate a vintage feel we collaborated with Pascale Collins, whom is a fabulous calligrapher. The overall suite a great collaboration and I am excited to share with you all! Enjoy!

EEEK! It's finally here and I can't believe it! I have been so busy with finishing up wedding season, working on the new website and blog! and peppering for bridal shows that October snuck up on me!
